Nem sei como vos explicar isto. Desde há muito tempo, na verdade desde 1978 (sim, que eu não sou assim tão jovem) que acompanho fielmente os artigos que um senhor chamado Kenji Tokitsu escreve numa publicação francesa denominada "Karate-Bushido". Depois da revista li também alguns dos seus escritos publicados em livro. Já devo, inclusive, ter feito alguma referência aqui ao seu excelente trabalho chamado "Le ki et le sens du combat", que por acaso possuo na tradução inglesa "Ki and the way to the martial arts".
Ora bem, acontece que entrei em contacto com o senhor Tokitsu e recebi autorização para traduzir para português (e inglês, não esquecer que isto é um blog bilingue) os textos que o mesmo escreveu sobre kendo, que se encontram publicados, em francês, no seu site http://www.tokitsu.com, e publicá-los aqui, regularmente, neste vosso blog.
Publicação essa que começará provávelmente ainda hoje.
Os três primeiros post(s) serão dedicados à história e evolução das artes marciais japonesas e servirão de introdução ao grosso do trabalho que será, esse sim, exclusivamente sobre kendo.

I don't even know how to start. It's been a long time, as a matter of fact, since 1978 (yes, I'm not that young) that I track and read all the articles that a gentleman named Kenji Tokitsu writes to a french magazine called "Karate-Bushido". After the magazine I started reading some of his works published in books. I'm sure I already spoke here about one of his excelent works called "Le ki et le sens du combat", wich by the way, I owe one in the english translation "Ki and the way to the martial arts".
So, now, what happens is that I contacted Mister Tokitsu who autorized me to translate to portuguese (and english, don't forget this a bilingual blog) his writtings about kendo. The same ones that are published in french his site http://www.tokitsu.com, I'm going to publish here, on a regular basis, in this same blog.
The most probable is that I'll start publishing today.
The first three post(s) will be dedicated to the history and evolution of the of the japanese martial arts and will serve as an introdution to the rest of the work, wich is, all of it, dedicated to kendo.
